Entra ID

Microsoft Entra ID is Microsoft’s cloud-based identity and access management service. It used to be called Azure Active Directory, or Azure AD. When you connect your Entra ID to Datalogz Control Tower, Datalogz maps the users in the inventory to the departments listed in Entra ID. As a result, you will see this information in the inventory and in BI 360.

Prerequisites

• You have a Service Principal with (read-only) access to Entra ID.

How to connect to Entra ID

1. Go to Settings > User Directory.

2. In the Entra ID card, click Set up directory.

3. Fill out the tenant, client ID and client secret.
